Our Pastors and Staff are committed to a life of Christian love of neighbor, a life where Good is cultivated and shared every day.
Rev. Richenda Fairhurst is a longtime Camas resident. (Read a message from Pastor Richenda.) She and her husband moved to Camas with their then young family in 1996 and they raised their three children in the community. Rev. Fairhurst graduated from Washington State University Vancouver and Drew Theological School in Madison, NJ. She recognizes the great hope Camas and Washougal residents have for their lives and for their families–children, parents, grandparents, and great grandparents. Her ministry reflects this hope for the future, and gratitude for the everyday beauty all around us. To contact Pastor Richenda, see our contact page.
Rev. Isabel TS Gardner is a retired Elder from the Peninsular Delaware Conference and served churches in Delaware and Maryland. She was born in Scotland and grew up in Europe, and raised four wonderful daughters. She has lived in Arizona, California, New York, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Texas before coming to Camas. She loves the weather, the beautiful scenery, getting to know the friendly congregation of Camas UMC, and living close to three of her eleven grandchildren. She spends time with her handwork, her book blog, the family cat Oliver, and loves paleo cooking. To contact Rev. Isabel, see our contact page.
Jan Carter (left) is a long time United Methodist recently relocated from Texas. She brings a wealth of experience to her position and we are so glad to have her as part of the Camas UMC team.
